During a professional chimney inspection, there are many factors that are taken into account and inspected. We'll thoroughly check for any leaks, cracks, damage, creosote build up, flue blockages and any other issues that could create an increased risk of fire, costly repairs, and issues that could increase risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Our team of professionals will go through and check for all of these things, then will provide you with all of our findings from the inspection. Getting your chimney inspected will keep you up to date on your chimneys current state of health, allowing you to keep it in the best shape possible and provide you peace of mind.
Many homeowners put this off, and it results in costly major repairs on their chimney which could've been completely avoided by keeping up with the proper maintenance and having been inspected. Typically, Chimney Inspections will take us approximately forty five minutes to an hour to complete. However, every inspection is different. If there are more issues present, documenting all these will take a longer time than the chimneys that are in pristine condition.
Give us a call today, and our team here at Forest Products Firewood, of highly trained professionals will inspect your chimney and be right there with you every step of the way!

Anytime you burn wood in your fireplace this creates carbon monoxide, which if your chimney isn't functioning as it should could result in permanent health damage and possibly death. So regularly inspecting your chimney on an annual basis will prevent any safety hazards from developing, and provide you insight to your chimneys state. When you have your annual inspection done, it must be done by a licensed professional so don't try to do this yourself.
This is entirely up to you, as long as it falls within an annual basis you are all set. However, if there are any issues that raise concern with your chimney then we'd recommend having one done to be safe.
Yes, you can. Unlike other fires within your home, you can have a chimney fire without even realizing it or seeing any signs of it. There are many chimney fires that occur that are slow burning which you may not notice and are only noticed upon the next inspection.
We strive to be in constant communication through the process with our customers, providing them with updates so they are always fully informed and never left wondering! If you have any questions or special requests, don't hesitate to reach out to us at any point. Our team of professionals will happily answer all of your questions, and make sure you're taken care of.
